NAGs 2019

NAGs 2019 saw 734 swimmers compete over the 5 days of competition at the Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre in Wellington. This included 35 Athletes from Australia and New Caledonia and 699 swimmers from across New Zealand, of which 113 were from the Wellington Region. 

           

In total there were 15 Wellington records broken during the week, which included 1 New Zealand record from Lea Muellner on Day 1 in the 50m Breast (15yrs) with a time of 32.51s. Chelsey Edwards and Sophie Irving both registered 3 Wellington records each and Bronson Lloyd came away with 10 medals, include 6 Golds. Two Wellington clubs finished in the top 10 as Capital came out 5th overall with 1,149 points and Raumati finished 9th with 613 points.
